PROFILE SUMMARY

Kashif Ishaque received his B.E. from Institute of Industrial Electronics Engineering (IIEE), Pakistan, in 2006, Master of Engineering science and PhD from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Recently, he was ranked #1 in the directory of Productive Scientists of Pakistan (PSP) in Engineering, made by Pakistan Council of Science and Technology (PCST) and was also awarded with Research Productive Award by PCST. In his doctoral studies, he was awarded with best-student, gold medal and chancellor award (most prestigious award) for his excellent research performance during PhD degree. He is now working as Head of Electrical Engineering Department and associate professor at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), Pakistan. Before assigning this HoD responsibility, he served as the Director of Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at MAJU, which is responsible to promote and support the socio-economic research. Dr. Kashif is the author and co-author of more than 50 publications in international journals and proceedings. In just couple of years, his citations have been crossed by 5000 with an H-index of 25, showing the excellent track record of his research expertise. He has also been the reviewer of several IEEE transactions, Elsevier, Springer, and other key journals. Currently, he is involved in cutting-edge research of modeling and control of power electronics systems, solar photovoltaic based efficient energy systems, application of fuzzy logic and neural networks in various applications, robotics, and industrial automation.
