PROFILE SUMMARY

Dr Qamar Abbas is a researcher, teacher, consultant, coach and a philanthropist. He holds PhD degree in Management Sciences with focus on Managing Workforce Diversity in Pakistan. He has 8 years of vast experience in academia in different capacities at both public and private universities (National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Iqra National University (INU) and Northern University (NU) Nowshera). He is a keen researcher who strives to promote innovative research work and has greatly contributed to research through his publication both in national and international reputed journals, supervision of MS & PhD theses, chairing the session of research conferences at Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of science and Information Technology (SZABIST), and evaluation of MS & PhD theses at National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Institute of Business and Management Sciences (IoBM), Bahria University (BU) & Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of science and Information Technology (SZABIST). He is also reviewer of national and international journals i.e., the South Asian Journal of Management Sciences (SAJMS), Journal of Global Entrepreneurship Research (Springer), Pakistan Business Review, Journal of Quantitative Method, Journal of Managerial Sciences and the Dialogue. He is also a social worker, and has served the community in time of natural disaster back in 2010. He contacted a UK based association, Redbridge Disabled Women Welfare Association, and successfully got the fund from association to utilize for the wellbeing of affectees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Dr. Qamar Abbas is currently serving as an Asistant Professor, an HoD, Department of Marketing, and an Academic Advisor to PhD Management Sciences program.
